Avevo delle belle mele renette in casa ma non avevo voglia di preparare la Tarte Tatin, cosi' ho cominciato a pelare e tagliare i frutti a dadini e mi sono cimentata nella titanica impresa.
In realta' l'impresa e' stata poco titanica dal momento che avevo solo cinque preziosissimi verdi pomi, ma il risultato mi ha gratificata moltissimo per consistenza, colore e gusto.
E questa e' la crostata preparata con la deliziosa confettura.
Ingredienti per la confettura di mele renette
5 mele renette, pelate, private del torsolo e tagliate a dadini
1/2 bicchiere d'acqua
il succo di 1 limone spremuto
1/2 bicchiere di zucchero
Versate tutti gli ingredienti in un tegame, portate ad ebollizione, poi abbassate la fiamma e chiudete con il coperchio. Cuocete per un'ora e mezza a fuoco bassissimo, rimestando di tanto in tanto.
Quando la confettura sara' pronta, trasferitela ancora caldissima in vasetti di vetro e chiudete con i rispettivi coperchi.
Io bagno sempre il fondo del coperchio con un poco di alcool etilico puro. Questo piccolo accorgimento aiuta a creare il vuoto.

Che buona deve essere...credimi non l'ho mai mangiata e forse al supermarket non la vendono neanche!! Le confetture fatte in casa cmq sono tutt'altra cosa..io ho fatto spesso quella alla prugna.
